Polluted land‚ beaches and water are not just detrimental to the health of indigenous people‚ they’re also a major reason why tourism cannot prosper‚ and thus the vibrant economy that normally supports it.
It’s well known that many people crave the outdoor‚ back to nature‚ thrill of living in places such as isolated African game reserves‚ in Rondavel type houses‚ amidst the wild animals that roam freely amongst them.
Pollution not only kills the economy‚ but also the animals that depend on a clean environment.
As per the Mission Statement‚ EnviroRep is committed to helping restore the status quo‚ but nothing happens overnight. Engagement with the local community is paramount to success‚ and it’s their efforts with our help that will get their economies back on track.
Each section completed is a step in the right direction‚ creating more employment to feed the families‚ and regeneration of the original community lifestyles. Many will go on to create new and innovative cottage industries‚ others will revert to the lifestyles of their forefathers‚ fishing‚ farming and hunting once again…in total… precisely the lifestyle craved‚ albeit for a short time‚ by tourists starved of fresh air and excitement at home.
